The Process
I like to pull demo ideas from my student’s lives and experiences to create a completely personalized demo. Thus, I prefer to write with you, bouncing ideas off of you and having you read as I go. The process includes a 30 minute consultation with me where we discuss archetypes you need on the demo, and I have you read copy. Then two hour long writing sessions with me before the demo record, which can be in person at Real Voice LA in North Hollywood, or remote.
Are you ready?
I always want someone to be fully ready to record a demo. For character demos, that usually means either a strong history of acting training, or character specific voiceover training. If you don’t have either, please feel free to schedule a consultation with me to evaluate your level. Even after we finish writing your demo scripts, you may want to schedule a practice session with me or another coach to really hone your pieces. This industry is a marathon, not a race!
